Reber River Trips, Barryville, New York
Join the Morris County Ski Club for a day of kayaking on the upper Delaware River. We will be meeting at the Reber River Trips base in Barryville, New York where we will be renting single kayaks. The trip length will be about 11 miles and the total time will be dependent upon the weather and water conditions that day. Assuming normal water conditions we should finish between 2 and 3 PM. There will be a few stretches of relatively easy whitewater to kayak through. We will stop about halfway along the trip for lunch, swimming and photography. We will finish our day with food and drinks at a local establishment (probably the Carriage House).
