SUMMARY:Ski Weekend at Swiss Ski Club Lodge in Waitsfield Vermont
DESCRIPTION:Thursday January 29 to Sunday February 1 \nThe Swiss Ski Club of NY has graciously opened their ski lodge in Waitsfield\, Vermont (171 Elkhorn Road) to MCSC members for an extended weekend this season. The lodge is located 5 minutes from Sugarbush (an IKON pass resort)\,15 minutes from Mad River Glen\, and about an hour from Stowe Mountain (an EPIC pass resort). \nThe $180 weekend cost (plus $10.80 booking service fee) covers 3 nights’ lodging but does not include food or lift tickets. \nFood for the weekend will be purchased by the Swiss Ski Club weekend coordinator (likely Knut Lundberg) for all attendees so that meals (breakfast and dinner) can be prepared in the lodge kitchen area daily. Attendees are expected to contribute equally towards the cost of food for the group. \nMembers and guests will also be required to handle a small chore during the weekend (to foster their idea of ski club community). \nPlease note that bedrooms in the lodge have bunk beds (with no more than 4 beds in any room). SUMMARY:Ski Trip - Superbowl Weekend at Lake Placid\, NY
DESCRIPTION:February 6th to 9th\, 2026 \nJoin the Morris County Ski Club as we spend Super Bowl weekend (and the opening weekend of the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan) at the site of the 1932 and 1980 Olympics at Lake Placid\, NY.  \nThis self-drive/carpool trip will be three-night trip held from Friday\, February 6th through Monday\, February 9th 2026 to ski Whiteface (and Gore?) Mountain.  \nCost: $820 MCSC members\, $850 nonmembers \nThe trip includes: 3-night stay at 4 star hotel with continental breakfasts daily\, lift tickets for 3 days of skiing (at either Whiteface or Gore) and Super Bowl party on Sunday night \nLake Placid features a wealth of winter activities from ice skating\, bobsled and luge rides\, snowshoeing\, cross-country skiing and dog sledding. There are many great restaurants\, bars and shops in town.
