Beach Bike Ride

Join the Morris County Ski Club on Saturday, September 6th, for our beach bike ride in Point Pleasant, NJ.

Begin the day with a choice of two bike rides 20 or 35 miles. Both rides will be on flat, lightly traveled roads. The 20-mile ride will go to Allaire State Park while the longer ride will have an additional 15-mile loop after Allaire State Park. We’ll start and finish at Risden’s Beach & Bath House. Once the ride is over, we’ll head over to a local place for lunch and libations. If the weather is nice, we may also get some beach time in!

DETAILS: 

• Meeting time: 9:30 AM. Bike rides will roll at 10:00 AM sharp. Cue sheets will be provided. 
• Please make sure your bikes are in good working order. Helmets are required; bring plenty of water and a spare tube. 
• Start point will be from Risden’s Beach & Bathhouse, Ocean & Trenton Aves., Pt. Pleasant. 
• Remember that meters are in effect 24/7. However, you may find free parking on the side streets away from the beach.

DIRECTIONS TO RISDEN’S BEACH & BATHHOUSE: 

GSP South to Exit 98, to Route 34 South. Take 34 South to Route 35 South. Cross the Brielle Bridge over the Manasquan River and continue about 0.5 mile to Arnold Ave. Make a left onto Arnold Ave. and go 0.8 miles to Ocean Ave. Make a right onto Ocean Ave.; Risden’s is 0.2 miles on the left.
