Christmas Concert – Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart, Newark NJ

CHRISTMAS CONCERT AT 

CATHEDRAL BASILICA IN NEWARK

Please join MCSC as we venture to the Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart in Newark for their 53rd annual Christmas concert/carol sing along on Wednesday 12/18 at 8 pm. The ambiance and seasonal decor, along with the Cathedral choir, organ, instrumentalists and thousands of participants combine to create an event not to be missed. If you have never been to the Cathedral, it is worth the trip. It was modeled after the famous Notre Dame in Paris and will be decorated with thousands of candles for the event.

For those interested in eating before the concert, there will be a pay for your own dinner at the iconic Tops Diner in Newark at 5:45. After dinner, we will carpool over to the cathedral (10 minutes) for the concert. After the concert we will return to Tops to pick up the cars, or enjoy some dessert.
