Ski Trip – Superbowl Weekend at Lake Placid, NY

February 6th to 9th, 2026

Join the Morris County Ski Club as we spend Super Bowl weekend (and the opening weekend of the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan) at the site of the 1932 and 1980 Olympics at Lake Placid, NY. 

This self-drive/carpool trip will be three-night trip held from Friday, February 6th through Monday, February 9th 2026 to ski Whiteface (and Gore?) Mountain. 

Cost: $820 MCSC members, $850 nonmembers

The trip includes: 3-night stay at 4 star hotel with continental breakfasts daily, lift tickets for 3 days of skiing (at either Whiteface or Gore) and Super Bowl party on Sunday night

Lake Placid features a wealth of winter activities from ice skating, bobsled and luge rides, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and dog sledding. There are many great restaurants, bars and shops in town. You can also attend the nearby Saranac Lake Winter Festival or even the Lake George Winter festival (on the way up/down) in your travels.

Accommodations will be at the 4-star Grand Adirondacks Hotel located right in the center of town and walking distance to most of the nearby attractions in rooms with either 2 queen beds or one king one (please request at signup)
