This might be your last chance to get in some turns before the Zermatt, Suisse ski trip!
Join the Morris County Ski Club for a day of skiing at Blue Mountain Resort in Palmerton, PA. Blue is about a 1 hr and 25 min drive from Morris Plains (Taking Route 80 West), and about a 1 hr and 10 min drive from Bedminster. (Taking Route 78 West)
Blue Mountain Resort is on the IKON pass. Non-IKON pass holders can purchase tix on-line.
Blue boasts a 1082 ft. vertical as the highest in PA.
Trail stats:
15 , 5 , and 15 or Plus 5 terrain parks.
Blue has 11 lifts as well as 1 high speed quad and 2 high speed six pack lifts.
Meet time: between 9:00 and 9:30 in the Valley Lodge (see picture above) Walk past the coffee bar to the back room. Plenty of tables and cubbies on the right as you walk in.
Suggestion: Afterward meet at the Covered Bridge Inn for adult beverages and a bite to eat. The Covered Bridge is 5 minutes off the mountain, and you will pass it on your way home.
