We are excited to announce that we have a new location for our monthly Members meetings!
Beginning with our next meeting at 7 pm on Tuesday October 8, we will be meeting at Morris Plains VFW Post 3401.

The VFW leadership are excited to have us and the meeting space, cash bar, outdoor space, and parking lot are ideal for our needs.
The VFW provides all the space we need for our meetings, a large monitor for presenting ski trip and event information, and the VFW bar gives us an opportunity to meet and socialize before and after our meetings. The $3 beers and reasonably priced mixed drinks make all that even better! We can bring water, soda, beer, and cocktails into the meeting room.
The bar will be open before our meeting begins and will remain open until 9:30 pm each Tuesday, after which time the VFW will promptly close. The meeting room and bar have been recently remodeled, and the bar area includes a pool table and table-top shuffleboard game. (See photos below.)
We can bring our own food and snacks into the meeting room.
Food and snacks will be provided at our October 8th meeting.
The on-site parking lot is huge and, along with ample parking for our meetings, we will be able use the parking lot for local ski trips. People who want to carpool to any of our East Coast ski areas can meet at the VFW and leave the extra cars parked in the parking lot. A real convenience!
The VFW holds several events and fund-raising dinners during the year, as well as sells Christmas tress each year. We will be able to participate in attending and promoting some of those events, for the good of the VFW and its members.
We are excited for the new location and hope you find it fun and welcoming too!
